Dolores Cannon
Dolores Cannon – Remembering More Than We Have Been Taught
When I first discovered the work of Dolores Cannon, it felt less like learning something new and more like remembering something my soul had always known.
Through thousands of hypnosis sessions spanning decades, Dolores explored what she believed was the deeper consciousness that exists beyond our everyday awareness. The people she worked with shared experiences of past lives, life between lives, soul contracts, other dimensions, and humanity's spiritual evolution. Whether viewed as literal truth, symbolic wisdom, or a doorway into the subconscious, her work invites us to expand beyond the limits of what we have been taught.
One of the ideas that resonates with me most is that we are not simply human beings trying to become spiritual. We are eternal souls temporarily experiencing life in a human body. Each lifetime becomes another chapter in our soul's journey of growth, healing, and remembrance.
Dolores also spoke about humanity moving through a great shift in consciousness. She believed many souls chose to incarnate during this time because Earth is experiencing an awakening unlike any before. From this perspective, the challenges we face individually and collectively are not punishments, but opportunities to remember who we truly are.
Her work encourages us to trust our own inner knowing. While teachers can point us toward the path, no one can walk it for us. The deepest wisdom is not found outside ourselves—it is discovered within.
I don't believe we should accept every idea simply because someone says it is true, no matter how respected they may be. Spiritual growth is a journey of discernment. I see Dolores Cannon's work as an invitation to explore with an open mind while allowing our own intuition to guide what resonates and what does not.
To me, that is most likely her greatest gift. She permitted people to ask bigger questions.
Who am I beyond this lifetime?
Why did my soul choose to come here?
What if consciousness is far greater than we have imagined?
Whether her discoveries are understood as spiritual truths, symbolic teachings, or explorations of consciousness, they continue to inspire millions of people to look beyond fear, question old beliefs, and remember that the answers they seek may already exist within their own souls.
Perhaps that is what every true spiritual teacher hopes for, not followers, but seekers who eventually discover that the greatest teacher has always been the quiet voice within.
