Spirituality and Religion Are Not the Same

We Are Born Spiritual Everything Else Is A Program

Although the word spirituality is often used in religion, they are not the same thing.

We are born spiritual. We are not born religious.

From the moment we enter this world, we are connected to something greater than ourselves. We experience life through curiosity, wonder, intuition, love, and an inner knowing. That connection exists before anyone tells us what to believe.

Religion is something we learn. It is passed down through families, cultures, and traditions. It provides beliefs, teachings, rituals, and rules that shape how we understand God, ourselves, and the world around us.

Spirituality is different.

Spirituality is not about adopting someone else's beliefs. It is about discovering your own truth through experience. It asks questions instead of demanding answers. It invites you inward rather than asking you to look outside yourself for every answer.

Religion often begins with, "Believe this."

Spirituality begins with, "Experience this."

Neither path is inherently right or wrong. For many people, religion provides comfort, community, and purpose. For others, spirituality becomes a journey of remembering who they were before the world told them who they should be.

To me, spirituality is not about becoming someone new. It is about removing the layers of conditioning until the wisdom that has always lived within your soul can be heard again.

You were born spiritual.

Everything else was taught.
